Genesis 2:23-24 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh
of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” For
this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his
wife; and they shall become one flesh.
Our goal with our
children is to prepare them for the day when they launch out of our home into
their own lives!
Psalm
127:3-4 Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the
fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the
children of one’s youth.
God has
taken a life that He loves, that He wants nurtured to love Him and serve Him,
and entrusted it into your care—no greater privilege could He give you!
Matthew 7:9-10 Or what man is there among you who, when his
son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will
not give him a snake, will he?
