With anti-poverty week just wrapping up, it was great to talk to Rita because, just 2 months ago, she was destitute sleeping on the beach for 2 days at one stage. I heard from her as to why she thought she got into that situation and how she made a decision to make a change in her life - with the help of the Salvation Army (in fact she now volunteers in one of their shops!).
