Halfway through the regime

This week, Jane's half way through her 6 week warrior girl training regime - where the "human pipe cleaner" needs to toughen up a bit! This week she trained on her own, without trainer Loretta Watson...

I'm over half way on my 6 week training program and I'm very excited to report that I've gained some weight: 1.2 kg. While my weight gain progress may be slower than the average person, keeping in mind I have a lung condition any progress in weight is a bonus.

Just three months ago I was 51kg and I'm currently sitting on 55.2kg. While the weight progress is fantastic, I am focussing more on how I feel.

Since week one, I have experienced improvements in my energy levels which is a great bonus, and it is having a significant impact on my daily life. This journey is reinforcing the importance of focussing on the process rather than fixating myself on the end result.


This week I've trained myself.... no Loretta!! I think she might be testing me to see if I'm really as disciplined as I claim to be. Well Loretta... you'll be pleased to know I trained quite well. I even stuck up your photo on my lounge room wall and pictured you there reminding me not to "train like a girl".... that sounds like something Craig Harper would say!!!

I'm only joking about the photo; I could just hear your voice encouraging me to push out a few more reps that I probably otherwise wouldn't do because it's too hard.

I do have a confession to make, some chocolate somehow made it into my fridge and then somehow made it into my mouth. ..... but it did follow a flaxmeal shake! Alright I'll stop making excuses and go and eat a steak!
