LightFM broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week a message of Christian hope to Melbourne. Many who listen are committed Christians and yet even more are nominal Christians or perhaps another faith altogether. This gives LightFM a unique opportunity to speak into the lives of a broad spectrum of society. Your support enables this to happen bigger, stronger, and brighter into the future.
204 000 people every week listen to LightFM and 59% of those people attend a church service twice a year or less. That means that 120 000 people who would not be connected with a church are every week hearing something of God and snippets of His word. These are people who would tune out if we pushed too hard and would hear nothing again. We don’t compromise the message, we feed it is digestible chunks. 39% of that 204 000 are people of other religions that listen (Muslim, Hindu, Atheist etc). (Research: McNair Ingenuity October 2008)
Through the LightFM Careline we have had 313 people (that we know of) come to a relationship with God for the very first time.

Funny thing is he is not a christian (bought up catholic but not practising)& it was early days for me, so I think that God wanted me to find your station!”
