Ephesians1:15-19
For this reason I too,having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and yourlove for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, while makingmention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Fatherof glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledgeof Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you willknow what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of Hisinheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His powertoward us who believe.
Godwants you to have a deep knowledge of Him and His plan for your life!
Hedesires that the eyes of your heart maybe enlightened. He wants you to know thehope of His calling, to understand whatare the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and to knowthe surpassing greatness of His powertoward you. But how will this spiritual understanding come to you? By snappingyour fingers? By saying “Amen” at the end of your prayer?
No.You will come to understand these things as you meditate on God and His wordwith an open, receptive heart to the Spirit of God. Linger with Him now.
