Romans 8:31-32 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
When you truly understand what God did for you at the cross, you will never doubt His love and commitment to you!
In this passage, God is reminding us that He’s already done the biggest thing that He could ever do for us. So how could we ever wonder if He’ll do lesser things for us? It doesn’t mean that God will do whatever we want Him to do any more than a good daddy will do whatever his kids ask him to do. But when God sees a way to bless us that fits with His plan for our lives, He does it!
Don’t hesitate to ask God to get involved in your life. The more you bring your life issues to God and ask Him to act, the more convinced you’ll become that God cares for you, because you will see His activity in your life at every turn. Learn to trust Him if He withholds something from you. He has already laid down the life of His Son for you. Do you think He would withhold the thing you are asking for if it was best for you to have it?
