2Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always havingall sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
Thisverse is in the middle of a section of Scripture on financial giving. God istelling us that as we obey and honour Him, He is able to provide all our needsto the place where we are able to really bless others in our lives.
“So that you may have anabundance for every good deed.” How are you using the abundance that God has givenyou? Are you using it “for every gooddeed”? That is the reason God gave it to you.
Goddoesn’t give us financial blessings, large or small, just for our own benefit.Everything we have belongs to Him and He wants us to use it for His purposes.Every financial and material blessing in your life is an expression of God’sgrace to you, blessing you with the ability to use it for something that willmake a spiritual impact in this world.
Godis calling you today to acknowledge that everything you have has ultimatelycome from Him. He wants you to put it all into His hands and say, “Lord, howcan I use what You have blessed me with to be a blessing to others?” Trust Himin this, and you’ll see His provision for your generosity.
