John11:23-27
Jesus said to her, “Yourbrother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise againin the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrectionand the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone wholives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him,“Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even Hewho comes into the world.”

Jesusintended to raise Lazarus, Martha’s brother, from the dead. Martha had seenJesus do many miraculous things, but she was really struggling to have faith inwhat He was saying. But rather than just denying what Jesus said, Marthafocused on her faith in Jesus Himself. She said, “I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He whocomes into the world.”
