Don’tignore Jesus Christ!
AsGod’s plan unfolded and the years of time moved inexorably towards the birth ofHis Son, God gave people many signs and prophecies and indicators that Jesuswas coming. So many, in fact, that we wonder how people could have overlookedthem, how they could have missed the most important event in history.
Butwhat about today in your own life? Do you recognise the presence of JesusChrist in your life? Do you notice the many ways God tries to get yourattention, the ways He speaks to you? Are you missing out on the wonderfulnessof walking with God because you are so distracted with life and its pressuresthat you are walking with your head down? Are you not noticing God?
Liftyour head up; stop focusing on the stress factors in your life and get yourmind on the things of God. God gives you many little signs of His presence withyou, many little messages. Instead of ignoring them, focus on them. Ask Him toopen your eyes and ears to what you’re missing. Respond to the incredible Godwho is speaking to you. Realise that you are involved in something so muchbigger than you. Get excited about it.
