I glorified You on theearth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father,glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You beforethe world was.
Whathas God called me to do this past year?
Itis an important question. God has placed you on this earth for a reason. Godhas a purpose for your life. That purpose gives your life meaning.
Thegreat purpose of all of our lives is to know God, to glorify God and to shareHim with others. But there is a more specific purpose for your specific life.And this past year fits into that purpose.
Lookback over your diary for this past year. How has God been working in your lifethis year? What lessons has He been teaching you? What has He been developingin your character? What have you learned about being a part of God’s work inthis world?
Canyou say, as Jesus said, “I have accomplished the work which You have given meto do”? Think about your personal ministry into other people’s lives throughoutthe day. How could you use your relationships more for God next year? Whatabout your ministry in your church? How has God used you? Praise Him for that,and ask Him to increase His work through you.
