Mr Robert Evers
GAICD, BCom, MBA, GradDipCrpMgt

Chair of the Association, Mr Evers was appointed to the Board in 2012.

Experience
Mr Evers is co-founder and CEO of Care Support Network, an online market platform connecting carers with older Australians and people with disability. Currently also Board Chair of financial services group 3P Corporation Ltd. Formerly Executive Officer of Yooralla, CEO of Wesley Mission Victoria and Director of Anglicare Sydney – all of whom are NFP aged care and disability support providers. Previously Non-Executive Director of Baptcare Ltd Victoria.

Special Responsibilities
Mr Evers is a member of the Finance and Audit Committee, the Governance and Risk Committee and the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.

Ms Annemarie Numa
GAICD, BEc, CA, CTA

Vice Chair of the Association, Ms Numa was appointed to the Board in 2017, having been a member of the Finance and Audit Committee since December 2015.

Experience
Ms Numa has over 20 years financial and commercial experience gained from senior roles in large multi-national corporations, including BlueScope Steel Limited, BHP Billiton Limited and Newcrest Mining Limited. Ms Numa is currently the Group Taxation Manager at Grocon.

Special Responsibilities
Ms Numa is a member of both the Finance & Audit Committee and the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.

 

Mr Hamish Blair
MAICD, FFinSIA, BCom(Hons), MCom,

Treasurer of the Association, Mr Blair was appointed to the Board in 2013.

Experience
Over 20 years corporate advisory experience having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. Mr Blair has worked with many companies, large and small, across a diverse range of industries including radio, media and telecommunications. Currently the Business Manager at a large private girl’s school.

Special Responsibilities
Mr Blair is Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee.

Mr Mark Tapley
GAICD, BEc(Hons), LLM

Secretary of the Association, Mr Tapley was appointed to the Board in 2015.

Experience
Mr Tapley has over 20 years experience in strategic, policy and regulatory roles in the banking, communications and government sectors. He is currently working in corporate strategy and planning at the ABC.

Special Responsibilities
Mr Tapley is Public Officer of the Association and is also a member of the Governance and Risk Committee.

 

Mr Andrew Sellman
BCom

Mr Sellman was appointed to the Board in 2013.

Experience
Mr Sellman is the Founding Principal of One Sherpa Pty Ltd which began in October 2000. After two decades of experience running businesses in different countries, cultures and industries, he specialises in empowering individuals and management teams to more effectively understand the people dynamics and financial understanding of their organisation to achieve better personal and organisational performance.

Special Responsibilities
Mr Sellman is Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee, Chair of the Prayer Committee, and a member of the Finance and Audit Committee.

 

Mr Sebert Ruddock
FAICD, BCom, FCPA

Mr Ruddock was appointed to the Board in 2015.

Experience
Mr Ruddock is currently the Administrator of Scots’ Church in Melbourne. Previous roles included the Executive Director Administration and Finance for the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, the Chief Financial Officer for the Telstra Directory operation, Sensis Ltd. Mr Ruddock has significant skills in financial and risk management, with risk management being of particular interest to him in his Board role.

Special Responsibilities
Mr Ruddock is Chair of the Governance and Risk Committee.

 

Ms Jennee Chan
BCom, LLB(Hons), CTA

Ms Chan was appointed to the Board in 2018.

Experience
Ms Chan has over 15 years advisory experience and has worked in Big Law, Big 4 accounting and in-house corporate, in Australia and in London. She is currently Senior Tax Counsel at commercial law firm Allens, where in addition to practicing indirect taxation laws, she is an active participant in Allens’ pro bono work and a member of the philanthropy committee.

Special Responsibilities
Ms Chan is a member of the Governance and Risk Committee.

 

Dr Turlough Guerin
GAICD, FGIA, PhDAgric, AFAIM, Cert IV WHS (NSCA)

Experience
Dr Guerin has 20 years NFP board level experience in community engagement, primary industry, infrastructure, risk and governance. Highlights include Chair of the Australian Institute of Agriculture and Chair of the Board Advisors to the Climate Alliance. He is a member of Future Generation Working Group of the Board of Hepburn Wind and is Deputy Chair of a Community and Industry Advisory Board at the University of Melbourne. He has held executive roles in environmental, planning and safety governance with companies including First Solar, Chevron, Shell, Rio Tinto, Telstra and Motorola. He currently works for the NSW Government, Office of Environment & Heritage.

Special Responsibilities
Dr Guerin was appointed a member of the Governance and Risk Committee in 2015.

 

Ms Melanie Bouchier-Jafari 
BCom, CPA, MBA, SSA

Experience
Ms Bouchier has over 20 years experience in tax and accounting where she has worked extensively through the financial counselling process with large numbers of employees as organisations downsized their workforce. Establishing Trailblazer Consulting Group in 2017, she provides a solution-focused approach to helping her clients to move strategically towards their goals, with a key focus on fostering individuals, enhancing smart processes and maximising the use of technology to gain efficiencies in business operations.

Special Responsibilities
Ms Bouchier-Jafari was appointed a member of the Finance and Audit Committee in 2018.

 

Mr Jarrod Graetz
MAICD, GradCert – Commercial Radio, GradCert – Commercial Radio Programming, Dip – Finance and Mortgage Broking

Mr Graetz was appointed as CEO LightMelbourne in 2012, having joined as Station Manager in 2009.

Experience
Mr Graetz has significant national and international experience and expertise in the media industry including time at Stripe (Sydney) as CEO, Hope 103.2 (Sydney), and 101.9 FoxFM (Melbourne). He has proven himself to be an energetic and progressive leader, skilled in the areas of strategic business development and day-to-day managerial operations. Mr Graetz has served on a number of boards, the most recent being Warrumbui Retreat and Conference Centre which he served on for 12 years, including a stint as Vice Chair and then as Chair. His faith and passion for Christian media give him the fundamentals to lead the LightMelbourne team in providing positive and family friendly radio focused on making a difference right across Melbourne.

Special Responsibilities
Mr Graetz is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of both 89.9 LightFM and LightDigital.
